October Pot Luck Dinners
These informal pot luck suppers are for adults only, and are designed for new and existing families to meet their child’s teachers, as well as other parents in the classroom.
Grandfriend’s Day
This semi-annual event occurs in the Fall and in the Spring. Our Sunshine and Pre-Kindergarten children invite a “grandfriend” to visit their classroom and share in the joy of learning and discovery. Tasty treats are shared and crafts are created to top off this special morning!
Fall Fest
In November, families and friends gather to celebrate all that the season has to offer. Games, hay rides, vendors, and so much more make this our most attended event.
Scholastic Book Fair
Each winter, the school is transformed into a library of books, games and school supplies offered by the Scholastic company. Sweet Peas Village hosts a raffle and Silent Auction to compliment this fundraiser.
Art Gallery Night
The Sunshine and Pre-Kindergarten students attend art classes beginning in September and culminating in May. Each school year, our staff and Parent Board members put together an art show to display the children’s work. This event happens in March, and is a celebration of the children’s creativity!
Graduation Extravaganza
What school year would be complete without a graduation celebration? In May, we roll out the red carpet to our graduates and their families as we applaud their academic achievement with a special ceremony and, of course festivities.
Sweet Peas Softball Game
It’s the parents versus the teachers in our traditional summer softball game. This adults only event features America’s favorite pastime with a twist-join us for the game and stay for the fun.
Each day is considered a special day! It is always something new but always enough that remains the same to provide the security and comfort of familiarity.
